Question
I have a 3 month old who has had diarrea for about 4 days. He is still taking his normal amount of formula for the day but just has a runny yellow stool and you can hear the gas rumbling in his stomach. What should I do?
Answer
Continue with the formula. The diarrhea may most probably be a viral diarrhea and subside on its own. If it presists more than 7 days, get his stool evaluated to look for infection and milk intolerance.
