hello sir/madame, I am G6pd patient and have had a histroy of haemolysis when I was administered chloroquine for malaria treatment few years back.I work at a Lignite fired Power plant..The content of sulphur in lignite is very high and the atmosphere contents high ppm of Sulphur. Do I stand a health risk by working in this atmosphere containing sulphur..Can it affect my physiology?
Answer
You have to avoid ingestion of sulphur based drugs and fava beans, and avoid moth balls. Inhalation of sulphur should not cause problems. Back to All Questions
